O Writers Guild of America Awards (WGA),premiação do sindicato dos roteiristas, revelou os seus indicados, para a 71ª edição anual de sua premiação.
Esse ano sentimos algumas ausências entre os indicados, como “A Favorita”, “No Coração da Escuridão”, “A Balada de Buster Scruggs”, “Boy Erased” e “As Viúvas”, talvez pelo motivo de que os membros só consideram os scripts sob as diretrizes do sindicato.
Em questão de previsões, o WGA previu 4 dos 5 indicados ao Roteiro Original do Oscar 2018, e em Roteiro Adaptado, foi ainda melhor prevendo 5 dos 5 indicados, e conseguiu prever os dois vencedores: “Corra!” e “Me Chame Pelo Seu Nome”.
